Laura takes her two children back to her hometown in Spain for her sister’s wedding. Her older child, sixteen-year-old Irene, drinks too much wine and is put to bed early. When Laura goes to check on her later, Irene is gone, and Laura soon gets a text message demanding a ransom for Irene’s safe return. So begins the mystery of who took Irene.
Everybody has a secret. Everybody knows Laura’s. But who can she trust?
