Described by Edward Albee as “the greatest American play ever written,” OUR TOWN follows the small town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire to tell us the story of every town. Narrated by the Stage Manager, we follow the Webb and Gibbs families through three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” Through young lovers Emily and George, their strong and loving parents, and the many townspeople, the play delivers universal truths about what it means to be human.
