Cloverdale-Idlewild 4th of July Parade and Band Party

July 4, 2019 @ 2:00 am - 10:00 pm

Free

The parade will start at 2pm at the corner of Lexington and Plymouth. It will wind its way through the neighborhood and finish at the Cloverdale Bottom Park under the shady live oak trees for a patriotic mini-pageant! This year’s theme is “The Bicentennial Year of Montgomery and the State of Alabama.” Plan to bring coolers with cold drinks to help cool off while you visit with neighbors and friends!

Everyone is welcome to participate in the parade! This is your chance to wear your red, white, and blue – the more festive, the better! Decorate your bikes, cars, scooters, strollers, wagons, riding lawnmowers, and your pets and join in the parade! If you just want to cheer the parade along, be sure to wave from a shady spot on the sidelines!

The Band PArty will be from 6pm to 10pm and will be located at the Gazebo at Cloverdale Bottom Park (intersection of Cloverdale Road and Ponce de Leon). The band this year will be Sabadas. Don’t forget to bring cool drinks and snacks to enjoy while visiting with friends and neighbors under the beautiful live oak trees! All ages are welcome!
